Organization Hierarchy
The hierarchy page allows you to view and manage the structure of organizations in your group. Organizations are connected by “parent-child” relationships, forming a tree structure.
What is Organization Hierarchy?
Organization hierarchy is a way to organize and manage the structure of groups of companies or divisions. Each organization can have one parent organization and an unlimited number of child organizations.
This is especially useful for partner organizations that have a complex structure with multiple levels of divisions.
How Does the Hierarchy Page Work?
On the hierarchy page, you see:
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Organization List | A “tree” with all organizations, indentation shows nesting level |
| Diagram Button in Header | Opens a full-screen diagram of the entire hierarchy |
| ”Show on Diagram” Button | Appears next to each organization — opens the diagram centered on that organization |
Hierarchy is only available for partner organizations with a license for this feature.
If your organization is not a partner organization, attempting to access this page will automatically redirect you to the main application dashboard.
Organization List (Tree)
The left side of the screen shows the complete list of organizations in tree format:
List Structure
- Root Organization — top level (usually
ibragimov) - Child Organizations — indentation shows nesting level
- Collapsed Branches — if a branch contains many organizations, it can be collapsed
Interaction with the List
Expand and Collapse Branches
Click the small triangle/arrow next to an organization name to expand or collapse a branch. On a collapsed branch, a counter shows how many organizations are hidden.
View Child Organizations
Click on an organization name to see its child organizations.
Open Diagram for Organization
Click the “show on diagram” button next to the organization you’re interested in. The diagram will open fullscreen and center on that organization.
Hierarchy Diagram
Opening the Diagram
You can open the diagram in two ways:
- Full Diagram — click the button in the page header (usually on the right) to open the diagram with the entire hierarchy
- Focused Diagram — click “show on diagram” next to an organization in the list to open the diagram centered on that organization and its surroundings
How Does the Diagram Work?
The diagram shows the hierarchy as an organizational chart from top to bottom:
- Parent — at the top
- Child Organizations — below
- Connection Lines — show “parent-child” relationships
Interacting with the Diagram
Navigation
Moving and Panning
- Dragging Nodes — position your cursor on an organization name and drag it to another location on the diagram
- Dragging Canvas — hold spacebar (or middle mouse button) and drag the entire diagram to change the visible area
- Click Organization Name — go to that organization’s dashboard (opens in a new tab)
After moving nodes, the position is saved for your current session.
Additional Diagram Buttons
| Button | Function |
|---|---|
| Fullscreen | Expand diagram to fullscreen (for maximum space) |
| Fit to Screen | Automatically adjust zoom so the entire diagram is visible |
| Add Organization | Create a child organization for the selected organization (from context menu) |
Creating a Child Organization from the Diagram
You can create a child organization directly from the diagram:
Find Parent Organization on Diagram
Open the diagram and find the organization under which you want to create a new subdivision.
Open Context Menu
Right-click on the organization or click the action button next to its name.
Select “Add Organization”
In the menu, choose “Add child organization” or similar.
Fill in Information
Enter the name, type, and basic parameters of the new organization. The parent will be automatically set to the selected organization.
Confirm Creation
Click Create. The new organization will appear on the diagram and in the list.
Mobile View
On mobile devices, the organization list is displayed as cards with a fixed width. For deeply nested hierarchies, horizontal scrolling may be required.
For large and complex hierarchies, we recommend using the diagram — it’s better suited for understanding structure on any screen size.
Tips and Recommendations
For Large Hierarchies
- Use the diagram for better understanding of structure
- Collapse unnecessary branches to focus on the subdivision you need
- Use “fit to screen” to quickly see the entire structure
For Small Hierarchies
- The organization list may be sufficient for viewing
- The diagram is useful when creating new organizations to visually confirm their position in the structure
Navigating Between Organizations
- Clicking an organization name in the diagram opens its dashboard
- You can open multiple organizations in different browser tabs
- Use your browser’s back button to return to the hierarchy
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I see the entire organization hierarchy?
Open the hierarchy page and click the diagram button in the header. If the diagram is too large, use the “fit to screen” button for automatic zoom adjustment.
How do I create a child organization?
Method 1: Use the organization creation form and specify the parent organization.
Method 2: Open the diagram, find the parent organization, and click the “add organization” button.
Why is hierarchy not available?
Organization hierarchy is only available for partner organizations with appropriate licensing. If you believe you should have access, contact your organization’s administrator or support service.
How do I move organizations in the diagram?
You can move organization nodes directly in the diagram by dragging them with your mouse. This doesn’t change the actual structure — only the position on screen for your current session. To change a parent organization, use the organization settings.
What is a collapsed branch and counter?
If an organization branch contains many child organizations, it can be collapsed. A number next to the name shows how many organizations are hidden. Click the triangle to expand the branch and see all organizations.
How do I highlight an organization?
Use the “show on diagram” button next to the organization in the list. The diagram will open and center on that organization.
