ORG is the logistics center of the Labs ecosystem — this is where organizations, teams, and members are managed. Every organization, every role, every invitation passes through this application.
What is ORG?
ORG is the logistics center of the Labs platform — a centralized organization management system that allows you to create teams, invite members, and configure access rights.
While ORG itself works in the background, it’s a key connecting link for the entire ecosystem. Every application — including User Profile and Authentication — interacts with ORG to manage access and roles. This is where your team structure is formed.

Organizations in the Labs platform support a hierarchical (tree) structure. Every organization can have child organizations, forming a multi-level tree rooted at the platform’s root organization.
How Hierarchy Works

Add Child Organizations
In ORG, open Hierarchy and click Add child on an organization with the Partner industry. The new organization is created under it. You need edit access to the Hierarchy page, and the parent must not be archived.
Flat by Default — An organization created in USR is placed directly under the platform’s root organization, because USR does not offer a parent choice. This keeps things simple for small setups.

Create your organization in a minute
Organizations are created in the user profile (USR):
- Specify the Organization code (used for URL) and Organization name
- Choose the Industry and Territory
- Start inviting members immediately after creation
You can create an unlimited number of organizations for different projects and teams.

Organizations are created in the user profile (USR). After creation, you can manage it here in ORG.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many organizations can I create?
There are no limits. You can create any number of organizations for different projects, teams, or purposes. Each organization is completely independent from others.
How do I invite members to an organization?
Open the members list of your organization in ORG and invite people by email. You can assign a role when you invite or change it later. Invited users see the invitation in their profile and can accept or decline it.
Can I change a member’s role?
Yes. Only an Administrator can change member roles, at any time. Go to the members list, select the desired user, and change their role.
Can I delete an organization?
Yes, if your settings edit access is inherited from a parent organization. Open Organization Settings, scroll to Danger Zone, and select Delete Organization. Deleting sets the organization’s status to Archived, and it is then hidden from lists.
What happens to data when a member is removed?
When a member is removed from an organization, they lose access to all resources of that organization. Their data and contributions are preserved, but they can no longer interact with the organization.
