Organization Payout Methods
Payout methods are the accounts where the platform sends money from your organization’s balance. Add an active payout method before you withdraw.
What is a payout method?
A payout method is the destination for a withdrawal. Each one has:
- Type — the kind of account, such as a bank account or an e-wallet. The platform provides the list of types. At the time of writing it includes Philippine Bank Account and GCash Wallet.
- Title — a name you give the method. Titles are unique within one type.
- Details — the fields that the type requires, for example a bank account number or a wallet phone number.
A payout method belongs to one organization. Add it again for each organization that needs it.
Viewing payout methods
- Open your organization.
- In the left menu, select Payouts.
- Each card shows the title, the type name, and the details that have a value.
If no payout methods exist yet, the page shows No payout methods configured yet and an Add payout method button. If the list cannot be loaded, the page shows an error instead of an empty list.
The Add payout method button and the edit icon appear only if you have edit access to payments. Without it, the page is read-only.
Adding a payout method
Open the add panel
Click Add payout method above the cards, or the add card in the grid. A panel opens with the form.
Choose the type
Select a Payout method type from the list. The type cannot be changed after the method is created.
Enter a title
Type a Title of up to 64 characters. The title appears on the card and in the withdrawal dialog.
Fill in the details
The fields depend on the chosen type. Required fields are marked. A field with a required format shows a hint under it. A value that does not match the format is marked with an error.
Create the method
Click Create. The panel closes, and the new card appears in the list.
A payout method cannot be deleted from this page. If a method is deactivated, it no longer appears in the withdrawal dialog.
Editing a payout method
- Click the edit icon (pencil) on the card.
- Change the Title or the details. The type stays the same.
- Click Save. The button becomes available after you change something.
Withdrawing funds
Withdrawals are made from the Balance page. The payout method is chosen there.
Open Balance
In the left menu, select Balance.
Click Withdraw
Next to a currency balance, click Withdraw. The button appears only if the balance is above zero and you have edit access to payments. Each currency has its own button.
Choose a payout method
In the Withdraw balance dialog, select a payout method. The dialog lists only active methods, and none is selected by default.
Confirm
Click Withdraw.
The whole balance in that currency is withdrawn. You cannot enter a smaller amount. The dialog states the amount and the currency that will be sent.
- Transfer sent, the money is on its way — the platform accepted the transfer.
- The provider declined the transfer — the transfer was not accepted. The dialog stays open with the message.
Withdrawals appear in Transactions as Payout operations.
Frequently asked questions
Why don’t I see the Add payout method button?
You need edit access to payments. The button is also hidden if the list of payout methods cannot be loaded.
Why is my payout method missing in the withdrawal dialog?
The dialog lists only active payout methods. A deactivated method cannot receive money.
Why is there no Withdraw button?
Either the balance in that currency is zero, or you do not have edit access to payments.
Can I change the type of a payout method?
No. The type is fixed when the method is created. To use another type, add a new payout method.
Can I use one payout method for several organizations?
No. Each payout method belongs to one organization. Add it separately for each organization.
