Email Verification

Email verification confirms that you own the email address on your account. You can skip it for now.

Why It’s Needed

Email verification is useful for several reasons:

  • Account security — confirmation that you own the specified email address
  • Access recovery — password reset codes are sent to your email address

Note: After you sign in, the verification step is offered if your email is not verified yet. You can skip it with Skip For Now and verify later, but we recommend verifying your email.

When Verification Is Offered

  • After signing in and your email is not verified yet — the “Verify your email” page opens. This applies, for example, to accounts created with a password.
  • Accounts created with an email code — the email address is already verified at registration, so this step is not needed
  • Accounts created with Google — the email address is verified automatically, so this step is not needed

How to Verify Email

Open the verification page

After you sign in, the “Verify your email” page opens if your email is not verified yet.

Send a code

Click Send Code. A 6-digit verification code is sent to your email address.

Tip: If the email doesn’t appear in your inbox, be sure to check your “Spam” or “Junk” folder.

Enter the code and click “Verify”

Type the 6-digit code in the “Verification Code” field and press Verify. After a successful check, you are redirected to the next page.

Skip for now: click Skip For Now to continue without verifying. Your email address stays unverified, and you can verify it later after you sign in.

How to Get a New Code

If the code didn’t arrive or no longer works, click Send Code again on the “Verify your email” page. If the button is unavailable, wait until the countdown ends; repeated requests are limited to protect against abuse.

Troubleshooting

The verification email didn’t arrive. What should I do?

If you didn’t receive the verification email:

  1. Check your “Spam” folder — emails sometimes end up there automatically
  2. Verify the email address is correct — check that you entered the correct address during registration
  3. Wait a few minutes — email delivery sometimes takes time
  4. Request the code again — click Send Code on the verification page after the countdown ends
  5. Check your email filters — make sure your email provider isn’t blocking emails from our system

If the problem persists after all these steps, contact support.

The verification code doesn’t work

  1. Make sure you’re using the code from the most recent email
  2. Check that you typed all 6 digits correctly
  3. If needed, click Send Code after the countdown ends and use the new code

Tip: Don’t use codes from older emails.

The email went to spam. How can I fix this?

If verification emails consistently go to your “Spam” folder:

  1. Mark the email as “Not spam” — this will help your email provider in the future
  2. Add the sender to contacts — save the sender’s address in your address book
  3. Create a filter rule — set up automatic delivery of emails from our system to your inbox

These actions will help ensure all future emails from the system arrive in your main inbox.

I entered the wrong email during registration. How can I change it?

The email address on an account cannot be changed in the app. Contact support to change it.

Do I need to verify my email when logging in via Google?

Accounts created with Google are verified automatically, so no verification page opens for them.

If you already have an account with the same email address that is not verified yet, signing in with Google does not verify it. Enter the code on the verification page instead.

The only exception is a sign-up that you started with an email code and did not finish: signing in with Google completes it and verifies the email address.
