Managing Members
Members are the people who work in your organization. Each member can have roles that define what they can do in the organization.
What are members?
Members are people who belong to an organization. In ORG you can:
- Invite registered users to your organization
- Assign roles that define their access
- Track the status of each member: Pending or Accepted
- Cancel a pending invitation or remove a member
Each member is linked to their USR profile. A user can belong to several organizations at the same time, with a separate status and roles in each.
Open the members list
Select Users
Open ORG and select Users in the menu. The page is titled Team Members.
Review the list
The table shows each member’s code, name, role, and status. Use the filters to narrow the list by role or status. By default, the table shows members with the Pending and Accepted statuses.
If you have view-only access, you can see the list but not the Add User, edit, or delete controls.
How to invite a member
Click Add User
Above the table, click Add User.
Find the person
In the Email field, type at least two characters and select the registered user from the list.
Turn on the roles
After you select a user, the list of roles appears. Turn on the switch for each role the person needs. To learn what each role allows, see Roles and Permissions.
Preview the invitation
Click Preview. The invitation is added to the list of unsaved changes. Nothing is sent yet.
Save the changes
Click Save (N) above the table, where N is the number of unsaved changes. The invitation is sent. The person receives an invitation notification, and their status shows as Pending.
Only registered users can be invited. If the person does not have an account, ask them to register first.
Member statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | The invitation was sent, and the person has not answered yet. |
| Accepted | The person accepted the invitation and is a member of the organization. |
Accept or decline an invitation
An invited person answers the invitation in USR:
Open the invitations
Open USR and find the Invitations section. Each invitation shows the organization name.
Accept or decline
- Click Accept. The member status changes to Accepted in ORG.
- Click Decline, then confirm in the Decline Invitation? dialog. The invitation is removed. To join later, the person needs a new invitation.
Change a member’s roles
Click the edit icon
In the member’s row, click the pencil icon (Edit).
Change the roles
The name and code are read-only. Turn the role switches on or off.
Preview the changes
Click Preview.
Save the changes
Click Save (N) above the table. The new roles take effect after you save.
Cancel an invitation or remove a member
Click the trash icon
In the member’s row, click the trash icon (Delete).
Save the changes
Click Save (N) above the table.
- For a Pending row, the invitation is cancelled and can no longer be accepted.
- For an Accepted row, the member is removed from the organization. They lose access, and their roles in the organization are removed.
In both cases, the person receives a notification. To invite them again later, use Add User.
Frequently Asked Questions

The pricing plan is set by the parent organization. If your organization is a child organization, its administrator sees the plan as read-only in Organization Settings.

No. Only registered users can be found and invited. Ask the person to register first.
What happens when a member is removed?
When a member is removed:
- The member loses access to the organization
- Their roles in the organization are removed
- The member receives a notification
- You can invite them again as a new member if needed
Can a member be in multiple organizations at the same time?
Yes. Each organization has its own membership, with its own status and roles.
How do I leave an organization?
Members can leave an organization themselves. In USR, use Leave Organization.
